Here is a couple questions from one of our customers:

Q:  Could you plese recommend stones to deal with my son's thyroid cancer. I know about amber and smokey quartz but any others to keep him cancer free would be appreciated. I also have a daughter 21 who has bipolar issues. They include manic times and depression times....Something to keep her moods stabilized. She has an attraction to peridot but I am having problems finding it in raw form.

Answer:

Dear C,
Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care. There are many crystals that can work with cancer. Many say you should not use green stones in treating cancer but that is a not always the case. My favorite combination is Red Aventurine
combats the cancer itself

Smoky Quartz and Malachitework to combat the side effects of chemo, radiation and other cancer drugs.  These crystals also are great for Bi-Polar as well as the ones listed below.

Chlorite in Quartz

Kunzite

Lepidolite

Lithium Quartz

They can be carried in a pouch and tucked in a pocket or purse. Playing with the crystals through out the day will keep the mind balanced and focused.

Here is the link to raw peridot in our shop. They are very nice high quality natural chips.

We also have it in tumbled and bottled chips.
If she is attracted to a certain crystal it means there is some need in her that is responding to that crystal. Her intuition is leading her to what could be the help she needs.

Hi, i am a crystal healer, i read your question about your son having thyroid cancer and your daughter having bi polar, i suffer from depression and my mum and brother are bi polar, and my sister just found out her best friend has thyroid cancer, so i simpathise with your situation and i feel for you. I have made a list for you of which crystals are good for what so you can decide which ones you would want to get, like it was already said if your daughter is drawn to peridot it is for a reason and i would highly recommend getting that for her, if you do an advanced search on ebay for 'rough peridot' under 'items in stores' you will find chunks of it quite cheap.

For Cancer in general--
Amethyst, Azezulite, Carnelian, Magnetite (Lodestone) with Smoky Quartz, Melanite Garnet, Petalite, Red Jasper, Smoky Quartz, Sugilite.

For the Throat in general-- (blue is the colour for the throat chakra so most blue stones will suit but these are good...)
Amber (is really good), Blue Lace Agate (is really good), Apatite, Angelite, Anhydrite, Azurite, Celestite, Blue Jasper, Kyanite, Larimar, Blue Tourmaline, Turquoise, Hematite.

For Inflammation of the Throat--
Angelite, Aquamarine, Siberian Blue Quartz, Beryl.

For Bi-polar Disorder--
Charoite, Kunzite, Larimar, Peridot (which is probably why she is drawn to it...green stones are connected with the heart chakra so she may be drawn to Peridot because of a lack of self love or guilt for feeling like she does, even though she has no control over it)

For Depression is general--
Lepidolite (is very good), Lithium Quartz (very good), Kunzite (very good), Ametrine (a combination of amethyst and citrine, i highly recommend her having one of these or wearing it as a pendant would help tremendously!), Sunstone, Apatite, Botswana Agate, Carnelian, Idocrase, Jet, Lapis Lazuli, Moss Agate, Rutilated Quartz, Garnet, Tigers Eye, Hematite, Staurolite, Turquoise, Purple Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz, Siberian Quartz, Spinel, Jade (another good one).

For Mood Swings--
Turquoise (wear continuously).

I hope this has helped, if you need any more information or anyone else needs any information or advice you can email me on tashjensen0904@hotmail.com
